You have done so much with Oliver and I do not think he could have a better mommy :o)

Everything you posted today shows tremendous progress. Big and little steps pave the way to where we are to go.

Bravo!
KristinMom to Mr. Handsomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03664592848896720811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17425654.post-1155241200027360552006-08-10T16:20:00.000-04:002006-08-10T16:20:00.000-04:00*hugs* I am so very proud to be your friend. Bravo!!
Your progress together is absolutely worth celebrating! I remember people's incredulous looks when I would spout off about some seemingly minor accomplishment of Littleman's. We have occasionally had to respond to the call of nature by having Charlie us what nature has to offer. I really like how you put it about Oliver having the willingness to speak---that he is self-motivated to talk---bravo! I have often thought that this was a change we saw in Charlie after so much ABA and speech therapy and education: His teachers and therapists taught him not only to "learn how to learn," but to love learning.

A girl named Hope and a boy named Oliver---too lovely.kristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01104388229716638534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17425654.post-1155174322493619952006-08-09T21:45:00.000-04:002006-08-09T21:45:00.000-04:00I am so happy to have been reading along on how fa...I am so happy to have been reading along on how far Oliver has come this year! Once you get the news, there's nowhere to go but up, so this time of year will continue to be happier and happier for you as the years go by.

"Not a year I ever would have imagined." This sentence struck me- our kids make our lives unimaginable. But not necessarily in a negative way- just not as we had imagined they would be.gretchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16104742026667801816noreply@blogger.com
