Oh, so sorry about your arm! I'll be that's a story, right there.Your last post gave me so much food for thought. I've realized lately I also underestimate and overcompensate for Secondo a lot, and I'm trying not to. I also don't prepare him for activities or "what comes next" enough. What makes me feel worse is I do it with his twin brother, because he totally gets it. But the fact that Secondo doesn't seem to get it yet doesn't mean I shouldn't try, try, try again with him and assume that he'll get it eventually.I love hearing about your experiences with homeschooling. Like you say, it's overwhelming to realize that even the simplest things aren't simple. But it feels like such a huge victory when they figure something out! Thanks for your comment the other day about Secondo's messy feeding habits--it's so reassuring to know it's not just me. Sometimes it feels like it is.Loved the picture, sorry it included a cast! Hope the six weeks go by (relatively) quickly.--K
Oh no! I can't wait to hear that story :) Happy New Year!
Ouch! Yes, story please (when you can type...)
Everytime I see that photo (here or on FB), I laugh. NOT at your misfortune! But the smirk on your face and the little bit of fingertip showing...makes it seems like you're giving "the finger!" LOLHope it heals well and you can play the violin afterward! ;-)
I'm so sorry about your arm. I'm new to your blog, so am looking forward to having you back posting soon. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Oh, no! Happy New Year indeed. Hope it heals quickly and I agree with Niksmom, your smirk here is hilarious. Take it easy!!
I am sorry to hear this, it must suck for you. Hoping that six weeks are fast ones.
